2021-2022
I'm continuing to write children's books. Besides being a very active member of SCBWI, this is my second year in 12x12: a year-long writing challenge to write 12 complete picture book drafts, one per month, for each 12 months of the year!
2020
With the entertainment industry basically shut down for the year, I pivoted ("Pivot, Pivot!") in my storytelling. I did a deep dive into learning about podcasting. I worked with an Emmy-winning team on two pandemic podcast episodes - conducting all the interviews for both, as well as writing and producing one of the episodes. We have goals to work together on future podcasts.
I also started writing children's books! I have a couple that have been swirling in my mind for awhile. So I joined the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, taking another deep dive into learning a new medium of storytelling.

2015-2019
Apparently I was too busy working to update my website. ;) I did book several acting gigs during this time frame, as well as direct and produce over 80 music videos. We visited Iceland (2017) and Thailand (2019) - both wild adventures. Plus my husband and I celebrated "365 Days of Holidays" in 2018 - where we celebrated 1 (or more!) holiday(s) every single day for a whole year and documented it on social media. Whew!

April
Cast in a beautiful FSU thesis short film called “Break Free.” I play a bipolar mom dealing with the death of a daughter. The 6 day shoot was in FL and the film will screen in Tallahassee in August.
Worked as a Principal on a Comcast/Xfinity commercial shot.
Screened of episode 2 of The Dinner Project at the Atlanta Film Festival with a Q&A afterwards.
Filmed episode 5 of The Dinner Project with casting director Brian Beegle of Stilwell Casting.

Swamp Murders! I play Carolyn Spence, a mom devastated by her daughter's murder. The show is on Discovery Channel and my episode (#206) will air this summer.
Worked as a Principal in “Married People” industrial shoot for Think Orange.
Atlanta Film Festival time – I was there all 10 days with an All-Access Pass.
Fostering 2 Boston Terrier rescue dogs – first time foster mom. I think it will be harder than I thought when they get adopted.

Cast in feature film "Where's the Love?" Thrilled to be in another Terri J. Vaughn and Cas Sigers film.
Launched The Dinner Project. Episode 1 is available to the public February 27 and we are in pre-production for Episode 5.
Completed another 40 day fast/cleanse – amazing!

Found out my Atlanta Medical Center commercial was bought out for another year and will run through 2015!

At the Oscar-qualifying Atlanta Film Festival, Jyn is a Finalist in the screenplay competition for her script "Terrorists in Love." Also, Solace screens at the festival.
Solace, a feature film Jyn produced, is awarded Best Dramatic Narrative at Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, CA.
